Courtyard by Marriott Owensboro

Would absolutely stay here again. The mattress was a little weird. Kind of like a blow up mattress sound and feel as you lay down. Slept well. Manager was super friendly, Welcoming and assisting. 4 floors total. They have a bistro, bar area, Convenience area with snacks and drinks for after hours.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free breakfast would be a great perk. Did see a few ants near the TV stand. Building was nicely landscaped with lots of flowers. Has a fire pit out back which is great for the cooler months. Lots of cozy lobby seating if you want to sneak way from the room for a bit. My only complaint is that there was a pool/birthday party going on during our stay. 30-40 people in the pool for several hours so we were unable to use it and the next morning the hot tub was closed. Pool should be for room guests only.

Best hotel in Owensboro. We stay every week for work and it has become a home away from home. The staff are exceptional and truly go above and beyond to take care of me and my fur baby.

Great Value Near the Hospital – Spacious Rooms, but Missing a Few Basics I stayed here for 3 nights to attend my daughter’s first birth, and the location could not have been better. It is next to a major highway and only a 5-minute drive to Owensboro Regional Hospital, which made going back and forth very easy. There are also plenty of other restaurants nearby. The Room: The room itself was extremely roomy. The linens were top-notch, and the bathroom products were high quality. However, I was frustrated by a few missing amenities that even most motels include. There was no microwave in the room, and I was disappointed to find there was no bathtub—you have to upgrade to a suite ($200+ per night) to get one. Also, be aware that WiFi is an extra charge unless you are a rewards member. Food & Drink: The hotel has its own restaurant, but I didn't see a single patron in there during my entire stay. However, there is a Starbucks inside (limited menu) where the staff seemed much more attentive to my order than at standard corporate Starbucks stores. My favorite feature was definitely the ice-cold beer available right next to the front desk that you can charge to your room! The Verdict: Despite the lack of a microwave and tub, the room rate was very reasonable—comparable to a 2-star hotel like a Best Western. Given the comfort of the bed and the convenience to the hospital, I would gladly stay here again. Pros: *Excellent location (5 mins to Hospital). *High-quality linens and bathroom accessories. *Attentive Starbucks staff. *Ice-cold beer available at the front desk. Cons: *No microwave or bathtub in standard rooms. *Paid WiFi (unless you join the rewards program).

We just checked in this morning. We had a last-minute week-long reservation after a bad experience right after checking into our original hotel. Lois at the front desk listened to our stressed group, honored our reservation, got us into our room early, and checked in on us to make sure we were settled. She saved us a lot of stress. Thank you! The rooms were clean and what we expect from a Marriott hotel. I appreciate the flexible and extended stay rates at this location. The rewards/membership program is worth it.

This was my first trip to Owensboro & staying at this hotel. The room was great, spacious for just me with comfy king bed. Super clean, nice hotel & staff. I did long term stay for a few days and had no issues. And would book this hotel again no question. My only two negatives would be there is no microwave in the room but there is a mini fridge and coffee maker. And the other is that there is no mini toiletries. They shampoo, conditioner & body wash is attached to the shower wall. I do not use these types of communal opened products. You never know who used them or did what to them.

The staff are excellent at this hotel! We had a neighbor playing loud music in the middle of the night, and the staff promptly resolved our issue and also gave us a small discount on the room. Nice hotel, great staff and very convenient location!! The decor in the hotel is lovely too and the room is very clean. I smell a very faint hint of mildew or something or would have given a 5 for the room. I didn’t tell the hotel staff but am certain that if I had, they would have resolved this issue. Thank you hard working staff working in a holiday weekend!!!

Friendly staff, clean rooms. We were there for a tournament with a lot of kids and they were very welcoming and accommodating. I was hesitant on purchasing the stay for breakfast option, it was worth the money and we were very satisfied.
